8 month calendar instructions
Follow these steps to correctly make your calendar. Before you begin, you may want to think of a theme for the pictures that go along with your calendar. It must be squeaky-clean & appropriate! Anything that is questionable will result in it not being printed & no credit.
1. Open up Microsoft Publisher.
2. Open up a blank page.
3. Go to "File".....then "Page Setup." Set the paper to Landscape.
4. Go to "Insert"....then "Page." A box pops up asking you how many new pages you want to insert. Change that number to "19"...then hit ok.
You should now have 20 pages at the bottom of your screen. If you don't, ask for help.
Here is what information goes on each page.
Page 1: Title & Cover Page/Picture
Page 2: April Picture (make sure it fits with the blue lines, but don't make it blurry)
Page 3: Calendar for April---here's how to insert it.
Go to "Insert"....then "Design Gallery Object." A window pops up.
Choose "Calendar" from the list on the left hand side. Pick the style you like.
The month that pops up will be wrong. Fix it by clicking the little magician's wand that pops up on the calendar.
A window shows up on the left. At the bottom of it, it says "Change Date Range." Click that, and change the date to April 20xx (whatever year this is). Make sure to fit your calendar along the blue lines.
Page 4: May Picture
Page 5: May Calendar---insert it just like the April calendar. The only difference is that you should make sure to change the Date Range to May 20xx (whatever year this is).
